Access2 is an independent UK-based business which specialises in masterkeyed cylinder locks and access control systems. We’ve become the UK’s market leader by providing a blend of innovative, top-quality products and genuine customer service. Where there is a construction or refurbishment project underway, in health, education, hotels and leisure, defence and law, banking, retail or in the commercial sector, it’s likely that we’ve been involved.
Because when you can’t wait, you can’t wait
On a construction project, interim deadlines can be missed, but that final, handover date is always critical. The agreement and installation of master keyed systems is almost always scheduled for the closing stages of a project, and our customers can find themselves under immense time pressure.
Some years ago, we started to work on reducing our lead times. It’s been tough at times, we’ve had to reorganise and invest, but we’ve reduced an original 6- or 8-week timescale to just 48 hours.
We’re still not satisfied – if we can cut a few more seconds, here and there, from our processes, without impacting on quality, we’ll do it. We’re working towards the fastest possible lead times, because when a customer can’t wait, they really can’t wait.
We’ve made service an obsession and a priority, and that’s why if you mention the Access2 name to those in the industry, they’ll mention our service.
We are a channel focussed manufacturer who supplies into architectural and security providers. In addition to this and when called upon we work closely with end users, architects and main contractors to ensure a seamless system design to more complex solutions. We’re adaptable. We can get involved at the detailed level, provide general guidance, work with specifiers or even help to deliver bespoke solutions.
