When the Dubai World Trade Centre proposed the development of an entirely new centre for business, it was bound to be a substantial project with high standards throughout. The architects appointed, Hopkins, were tasked with designing over 1 million square metres of indoor and outdoor, space which included retail premises, offices, apartments and luxury hotels.
The contractors, Carillion Al Futtaim (now Al Futtaim Construction) chose Laidlaw Gulf LLC to supply the architectural hardware to this significant development. Laidlaw Gulf LLC is a market leader in the supply of architectural hardware across the UAE and Middle East. We were delighted to be asked by the Laidlaw Gulf team to supply a Tigris® Premier3 master key system into this exciting new development.
Tigris® Premier3, our patent-protected design, offers the high security the end users were seeking as well as the capacity to easily manage some 1,400 cylinders within a single, complex master key system – always a requirement in projects of this scale. Laidlaw were already aware of our reputation for delivering a quality product in time and in full at the most critical stage in the project cycle. Although we had no hands-on involvement with the project, our internal systems and Laidlaw’s own expertise ensured a smooth process from start to finish. That’s a result we’re justifiably proud of.
